As a form of resistance training, strength and endurance is a workout that helps to strengthen the musculoskeletal system. This form of workout is designed to target muscle groups such as biceps, triceps, quads and hamstrings among others. The workout program starts with a warm-up session that lasts 5 to 10 minutes. This helps to elevate the heart rate and warm up your muscles.
The program proceeds by targeting the legs, hips, shoulders, arms, chest and back muscles. Between workouts, there are a few minutes set to cool down. When working out, you will be required to incorporate dumbbells, weight machines, kettle bells, resistance tubes and even your own weight.
