If you are visiting Phoenix don't miss the views from South Mountain Park. If you don't mind driving on a narrow mountain road this is absolutely worth the drive. The only real choice is whether to go up for day viewing or night viewing as both are spectacular. This park is basically the same park I remembered from the 60's and 70's.
